PETITIONS

Nusocial Petitions is a directory of petitions started not just at Nusocial but elsewhere on the web too! A big difference with Nusocial Petitions is that the reponses to petitions can be voted on; they can be accepted or rejected by the people that signed the petition.

A petition is like an idea that a group of people think is important enough to implement, so the deadlines of petitions are flexible and try to find the best date that most people think a response should be had by or if necesary escalate to protest. Like Nusocial Questions, only real people can respond to petitions and be petitioned; the names of the organizations and companies they represent are for searching and organization.

Here is a general idea of how a petition on Nusocial will look.

Right now we're working on adding We the People petitions from whitehouse.gov, take a look at what we have so far! Soon we will add petitions from Change.org and make it easy for you to find and act on the issues you care about.
